Pizza Silhouette Series

This series was created using the the lid of Dominos pizza boxes, cut in a circualr shape to mimic a pizza crust. It is raised, like crust and is painted gold, encrusted in craft gem stones. The background is collaged with black butterflies and paper shapes. The surface was then painted with acrylic paint washes. The silhoutted figure was spray painted to achieve the checkerboard pattern.

There are 21 unique pieces in this series in various sizes, ranging from 6 inches in diamteter to 12 inches. Small art works are from 6 – 9 inches in diamter and are $150 each. Medium art works are $175 and ranges from 10 – 12 inches.
